About Us

The Zoe Thomas Foundation helps disadvantaged children, teenagers and young adults thrive by developing their talents, skills, well-being and social inclusion.

We focus on emotional and social needs as these are impacted by disadvantage and can impede or prevent young people from realising their potential. Supporting these needs can have long-term benefits and help break the cycle of disadvantage.

Our Story

WEB CROP v2.jpg

Zoe Thomas encouraged people of all ages and backgrounds to follow their dreams, be their best and enjoy life.

Zoe sadly passed away from influenza at the young age of 13. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of numerous people. Her parents wanted to honour her memory and used Zoe's approach to life and passion and talent for music to create The Zoe Thomas Foundation.

The Foundation's vision is for every child, teenager and young adult, including those suffering disadvantage, to have the support required to fulfil their unique potential.

Our values of engagement, inclusion and innovation are at the core of everything we do.

We respect each person’s unique talents, passions and ideas. We promote involvement, enjoyment and a real sense of belonging. We strive for the highest quality in our services with continual positive development based on sound evidence.

Our services provide long term support which is based on empathy, encouragement and guidance.

Music Program

We bring together young disadvantaged people with a passion for music and provide them with free tutoring.

Our mentors help students explore their musical talents, write songs and perform. Through the program, we focus on developing their self-belief, self-esteem and resilience, which helps them realise their full potential.
